How to Add Your Seasonal Wreath Insert
Changing your Phenology Décor wreath with the seasons is simple and should take just a few minutes. Each seasonal insert has been designed to attach securely to your main evergreen wreath while still allowing you the freedom to arrange and style it just as you like.
Before you begin
We recommend wearing gardening gloves when arranging or rearranging your wreath. While every effort has been made to ensure any sharp edges are safely covered, please always handle your wreath and inserts with care.
- Locate the quick-release hooks
Place your wreath on a flat surface with the front of the wreath facing downwards.
Locate the two silver quick-release hooks visible from the back of the wreath. Turn the wreath over so that it is facing upwards and gently pull both silver hooks through the foliage to the front of the wreath.
- Attach your seasonal insert
Position your seasonal insert over the wreath and clip it into the first quick-release hook, followed by the second.
Your seasonal insert is now securely anchored to the main evergreen wreath.
- Set the insert into the foliage
To create a beautifully natural finish, gently separate the evergreen foliage on either side of the wreath and carefully press the wire frame of the seasonal insert down into the greenery.
Continue working your way around the insert until the frame is nestled into the foliage and you are happy with its position.
- Style it your way
This is where you can make your wreath your own.
Gently arrange the seasonal insert so that as much or as little of it is visible as you prefer. You can also shape and rearrange the evergreen foliage around it, creating a fuller, more abundant look or a slightly narrower, more understated style.
There is no single “right” way to arrange your wreath, the flexible foliage is designed to be shaped and restyled to suit your home and your personal style.
- Ready for the season
Once you are happy with the arrangement, your wreath is ready to display.
When the seasons change, simply reverse the process, remove your current insert and replace it with the next seasonal design.
